FAQ: AWS Insights Fields in the Clazar Salesforce Package (Solution Score & Prospecting Insights)
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Q: What are the new AWS insights fields in the Clazar Salesforce Managed Package?
A: The package (v1.67+) adds AWS intelligence to two Clazar objects in Salesforce. On AWS Co-Sell Opportunities: Opportunity Quality Score (AWS's ML-generated 0–100 score), Opportunity Quality Trend (Improving / Declining / No Change), Co-Sell Quality Recommendation, and Co-Sell Motion (Partner-led / AWS Field-engaged / Agent-engaged). On Clazar Companies: AWS Solution Score, AWS Solution Category and Sub-Category, and AWS Eligible Programs (e.g., ISV Accelerate, Migration Acceleration).
Q: What is the AWS Solution Score?
A: It's account-side intelligence, not a mapping of your product to the account. Based on AWS's internal insight into a company's needs, AWS identifies which solution category/sub-category would best fulfill them — the Solution Score is AWS's confidence that a solution in that category fits that company. Read it as "AWS believes this account needs this type of solution, with this much confidence."
Q: Why don't I see the Solution Score in ACE?
A: It isn't an ACE opportunity field. It comes from the Lead Prospecting module in AWS Partner Central, where viewing it natively requires a two-step manual process — creating leads and then enriching them. The Clazar package syncs these insights automatically into the Companies object, without that manual step.
Q: Can I improve my Solution Score through better messaging with AWS?
A: No — the score reflects the account's needs, not your positioning. The leverage is in how you use it: prioritize accounts where the recommended category matches what you sell and lead with that angle. Eligible Programs adds another prioritization signal, since those accounts come with potential AWS funding/incentives.
Q: Does the Solution Score drive AWS seller behavior like the co-sell opportunity score?
A: No. These are company-level prospecting signals meant to drive your sales motion. The co-sell Opportunity Quality Score is separate and driven largely by the quality of the co-sell opportunity data itself. Use the company fields to pick accounts and angles; the opportunity score takes over once you're co-selling.
Q: Do these insights mean my accounts are being registered as leads in my AWS Partner Central account?
A: No. Clazar creates the leads in Clazar's own AWS Partner Central account and surfaces the enriched, seller-agnostic properties (Solution Score, Category, Sub-Category, Eligible Programs) proactively across your accounts. Nothing is registered in your Partner Central account, and seller-specific properties are not surfaced.
Q: Will Clazar support Leads Prospecting from my own Partner Central account?
A: A seller-side flow is on the roadmap but not yet built, so the final workflow isn't decided. The likely shape: create leads from your CRM data (with filters) or via Clazar's UI/CSV upload, with enrichment generated in and returned from your own AWS Partner Central account — possibly with additional fields.
