How to manually associate AWS ACE opportunities with existing Salesforce records

When you receive an incoming AWS ACE opportunity (Accept Opportunity/AO) that needs to be linked to an existing Salesforce opportunity, you can manually create this association through your Clazar dashboard.

Steps to associate opportunities

  1. Navigate to the Co-sell section in your Clazar dashboard

  2. Click on the Co-sell opportunity you want to map to an existing Salesforce record

  3. Click on the three vertical dots menu (⋮)

  4. Select 'Associate CRM Object' from the dropdown menu

  5. In the dialog box that opens, use the dropdown to select the existing Salesforce opportunity you want to associate

Important timing considerations

The Associate CRM Object functionality may not be available immediately after accepting an incoming ACE opportunity. If the option doesn't work right away, wait and try again later - the feature should become available after some processing time.

This manual association process ensures that your AWS ACE opportunities are properly linked to your existing Salesforce records, maintaining accurate tracking and reporting across both systems.
