This guide walks you through the process of subscribing to and purchasing a SaaS product listed on the Google Cloud Marketplace (GCP Marketplace).

Step-by-Step Guide to Purchase a SaaS Offer

1. Navigate to the Google Cloud Marketplace


2. Search for the Desired SaaS Product

  • Use the search bar to find the SaaS product you’re interested in.

  • You can also browse by category or filter by product type (SaaS, VM, Kubernetes, etc.).


3. Open the Product Listing

  • Click on the product to view its Marketplace listing page.

  • Review the following:

    • Product description

    • Pricing model (monthly rate, pay-as-you-go, custom)

    • Terms of Service and support documentation

    • Publisher and contact information


4. Initiate the Purchase / Subscription

  • Click on the "Subscribe" or "Purchase" button (label may vary slightly).

  • Select the appropriate GCP project where the SaaS integration should be applied.

  • Confirm:

    • Billing account

    • API access permission scopes

    • Any required parameters (e.g., tenant ID, region)


5. Accept Terms and Confirm

  • You’ll be prompted to:

    • Accept the terms of service

    • Acknowledge billing details

  • After reviewing, click “Subscribe” to complete the process.


6. Complete Configuration with SaaS Provider

  • After subscribing:

    • You may be redirected to the SaaS provider’s portal.

    • Complete any account setup, provisioning, or onboarding steps required by the provider.

  • Integration between your GCP project and the SaaS backend will be established automatically.


🔍 Additional Notes

  • Billing: Charges appear on your GCP bill under the respective Marketplace subscription.

  • Permissions: You must have roles/owner, roles/editor, or roles/serviceusage.serviceUsageAdmin on the project to enable services.

  • Monitoring: You can manage subscriptions from the "Your Subscriptions" tab in the Marketplace.
